 Welcome to the National Sorority of Phi Delta Inc, Delta Upsilon Chapter website.

National Sorority of Phi Delta is a nonprofit, professional educational organization founded by eight teachers in 1923, who desired to establish a sisterhood among educators whose mission was to support and encourage youth leadership, to encourage professional growth among educators, and to promote high standards in the teaching profession. The foundation of the sorority is the Y.E.S. program: Y – focus on Youth leadership training; E – engage in Educational events and programs that support personal and professional development;

S – engage in Service activities that support families and communities.

Delta Upsilon Chapter was Chartered in 1983 to create, maintain, and support academic excellence and community engagement in San Diego County Chapter Highlights: Youth Clubs for students in grades 9- 12; provide scholarships for graduating seniors; supporting a local elementary and middle school; backpack giveaways; turkey giveaways; community literacy outreach; Walk-for-the-Cure; March for Babies, Teach-A-Rama; Health/Wellness workshops.
